Hudson’s First Line of Casegoods

I have wanted to start my own line of furnishings for some time now…Upholstery, Casegoods, Fabric, Lighting – the whole show!  Well I have taken my first few steps towards that goal. The first step has been to create 2 casegood pieces, based off of the classic parsons shape, but tweaking the proportions a bit. And instead of a wood finish, or a painted finish, I decided to kick it up a notch and wrap the tables in classic cork.  I think these pieces are casual yet elegant, and add a touch of california feel to any room. And the second step towards my goal is the start of my own upholstery line. I am in the design phase of creating 2 pieces of my own design by our favorite custom furniture maker, Verellen. I am so excited and can’t wait for the unveiling (which will probably be early summer!) So keep your eye out! xoxo J
